Solidaires en Peloton – ARSEP then Inter Invest
Commissioned for Thibaut Vauchel-Camus, Solidaires en Peloton – ARSEP was designed in a similar spirit to Ciela Village which had been launched a few months beforehand. Under the influence of Franck-Yves Escoffier, who advised the skipper during construction, she was given greater freeboard and higher float beams to increase her suitability for ocean racing.
On the other hand, Thibaut chose traditional off-centre helm stations and minimal cockpit protection. She was also fitted with one-design foils authorized for the class in 2016. The foils are set surprisingly aft in order to raise the bow and make them more reliable at speed, the additional drag being compensated by higher average speeds.
Built in new moulds at the Enata Marine yard in Dubai, the trimaran secured third place in the 2018 Route du Rhum, and second in the Transat Jacques Vabre the following year.
In 2024, Matthieu Perraut takes the helm of Ocean Fifty, which becomes Inter Invest. His goal is to compete in the Transat Jacques Vabre duo in 2025 and the Route du Rhum solo in 2026.
