Lagoon 40

The Lagoon 40 is the brand’s entry-level model. She combines features that were already in place on her predecessor, the Lagoon 39, with several design innovations drawn directly from VPLP’s experience in the racing world

Serenity

Serenity is a concept developed by VPLP for an owner who wanted a boat powered by a wingsail and solar panels. His project was to live aboard and sail leisurely round the world with his family.

Outremer 7X

Buoyed by the success of the 5X, Outremer and VPLP decided to collaborate anew in 2017 to produce the Outremer 7X, the largest cruising boat ever built at the yard in La Grande Motte. The DNA of the Outremer series – performance and ocean cruising – is even more present in this 70’ catamaran because she was designed to carry a crew and be very light, making her very competitive.

W/Y Evidence

In a similar vein to Komorebi, Manifesto and Ampersand, W/Y Evidence belongs to a new category of project developed by VPLP in recent years: monohulls and multihulls featuring hybrid propulsion which leverages mechanical power and hard wingsails.

Lagoon 42

The Lagoon 42 retains the spirit of the 40 but with greater comfort and, thanks to her slightly longer hull, even better performance at sea.

S-Jet / Air Seas

The S-Jet, developed in collaboration with Airbus, went through a number of preliminary designs. The concept was to adapt the control system for winglets, those devices at the tips of aeroplane wings and tails designed to reduce drag, to a 26 m catamaran.

No Limit

No Limit is the fruit a collaboration between Outremer and Yann Marilley, pro yachtsman and boss of a yard in La Trinité. It was also an opportunity to combine racing expertise with cruising considerations. Wanting to develop a fast catamaran from an existing model, the skipper customized the hulls of an Outremer 5X to produce a high-performance racing boat.

Lagoon Motor Yacht

An extension of the Smartboat, the Lagoon MY wasn’t initially designed as a motorboat but a sailing yacht with the underlying idea of retaining the benefits of a catamaran (stability, independence and space for the owners).

Hospital Vessel

Similar to the ambulance boat that has already been launched, the Hospital Vessel is being developed in collaboration with a doctor who is aiming to provide medical care, including surgery, to the inhabitants of remote regions, in particular river populations.  This 112’ motor catamaran features four deck levels to include a waiting room, an examination […]

Manifesto

Manifesto is a “concept boat” and a veritable policy statement from VPLP because, rather than designing a boat with several superimposed decks which are completely detached from the sea and nature, the firm argues for a similar surface area spread across a beamier catamaran which is more stable, closer to the water, and infused with fresh air and natural light.
